"The chef has been working with Alain Doucasse. Food is at the high level restaurants you can find in bigger cities. The first dishes all done with good quality product. Specially the vegetables. For main dishes we had a wonderful sea bass. The duck and the bra were also tasty and well done. The deserts need a special mention. Remarkable is the soufflé that is wonderful, the bavarois is also magnificent. The wine list is short, half Spanish wines half French wines. And all at good prices. This a must if you are near Puigcerda."

"The main advantage of El Tupi is its location at the bottom of the slopes at Eyne, which is part of the Cambre d'Aze skiing area. It also has a very pleasant, sunny terrace. You can book tables inside the restaurant if you don't want to queue at lunch time or if you want to warm up. Food is average : decent pizzas and omelettes, so-so salads (I tried the warm goat cheese salad 3 times, the bread croutons were burnt every time), disgusting chicken nuggets for kids (made of reconstituted meat). Crêpes for dessert were fine. Service was friendly enough. The issue is Eyne is such a tiny place, there are only two restaurants to chose from, and El Tupi is the better one of the two. The other restaurant is a cafeteria underneath the hotel Roc Blanc which serves food on sticky trays and which is best avoided. Price-wise, El Tupi is a bit on the expensive side considering the quality of the food. But again, there is no alternative locally, unless you want to bring your own sandwich and eat on the slopes."
