"We visited on Sunday 6th August, ordered 2 lots of Fish, Chips and Peas, they had to be the worst i have ever had, swimming in grease and horrible. The staff were not caring about anything as long as you paid your £23. Yes £23 for 2 takeaway fish, chips and peas. Only ate half and the rest went in the bin, done nothing but vomit since i got home. Obviously will never ever use again."

"Eating was fantastic and the staff was very well informed what was gluten-free. they had also made a few more suitable. I had a jacket kartoffel with cheddar and speck for the first time there, the second time when I had marmalade brat bark with red cabbage and kartoffel smug."

"We had a family get together staying in a fabulous accommodation opposite the Monsal Head Hotel. As we were walking we spotted the Stable Barn offering freshly cooked pizzas. Delicious! A good choice of toppings, nice and hot and very friendly staff. We would certainly recommend."

"Sunday dinner with my man and his tante yesterday was fantastic. great eating, great friendly service and a beautiful table, although we had not booked. did not hurry and the WiFi password was given when they asked. the waitress was so inviting and made us feel like VIP customers, although we were happy to get a table. freshly prepared delicious food and spice from chatsworth farm shop. the best tomaten ketchup I've ever had could even splash on a bottle when we go to the shop:"
