"La Mondina used to be my favorite local spot. Carmine would go out of his way to check on our table and make sure everything was perfect. He was always willing to make adjustments to my favorite orders to accommodate my dietary restrictions.Our reservation was at 9. Last night it took the server 35 minutes before she even took our order. At that point, we just decided to order dessert and a cocktail because it was approaching 10pm. According to the server, Randy the manager wouldn’t allow the adjustments to my order so unfortunately I wasn’t able to get what I typically enjoy there. The server told me “Randy is cracking down”.My friend and I went there last night to de-stress and enjoy ourselves. Not to then be disappointed that I couldn’t order my favorite cocktail without dairy. In this day and age there are so many different dietary restrictions for customers. Where you are dairy free, gluten free, peanut free etc. I’m surprised at a place like la Mondina where they actually offer vegan options, that they wouldn’t have been more accommodating, or at the very least apologetic that they no longer make the adjustment that they have previously made for me many times."

"Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. The California Smash Burger was one of the tastiest burgers I've had in recent memory: cooked on a flat top grill, the patties were juicy and flavorful. You'll need extra napkins, for sure. My husband had an omelet with corned beef hash and Irish bangers and gave it two thumbs up. Removing one star in Atmosphere for the rest room, which needed cleaning, but otherwise a great experience. We'll be back."
