"Very picky about fish and chips, they do it exactly as we request. Great to see this place with new management and an awesome cook. Good fish and chips are so hard to get these days with great shops closing and being taken over by new owners who loose the quality. Will keep going here for all of our fish and chips."

"We met friends here last week for dinner. The staff were very friendly. The food served was excellent. The fish,chips and salad are very fresh. They just cut after we ordered. The fish portion is bigger than before. Clean and smell sweet."

"To say that this place has gone downhill after a change in ownership is an understatement.1) The adult portions re literally smaller than the child portions elsewhere.2) The fish is dried up and greasy.3) It smells.4) They forget condiments - not even dressing on a salad.5) They are super slow.6) It is super dirty.In sum this is the absolute most pathetic Fish and Chips place you can imagine. I though Captain George's was a franchise in which case I have no idea how they are even allowed to operate under that name. One of 2 things should happen asap.1) the owners go eat in any fish and chips restaurant anywhere else in Ontario to get an idea of what their product should be then seriously get their act together.or2) Or they go out of business.Honestly so pathetic is is unbelievable."

"I was very excited to find a place with local organic food. when considering the labels of food in the almost empty, underlaid business, however, I saw that most dry goods originate from China. what a sweat. and some of the foods. were conventionally cultivated. Maybe if the worker stepped out their phone texts while there are customers (that was not-stop in my 30-minute exploration of surprise Chinese food), they could build some real local food and support local. lame and dishonest."
