"One star is to taste. The Hawaiian Ponzu was delicious and a good balance of savory and sweet. Otherwise there's no reason I'm coming back. They are too expensive for how much they give. My bowl was all rice with a small piece of fish and toppings. Very disappointing."

"Discrimination against certain groups of individuals. If you don't have a big bill, they'll try to rip you out of your seat. There are a few very friendly and professional employees, but for the most part the management has a big ego and thinks because this is 4S Ranch, they should not deal with second-class citizens. I would urge the owners to reassess how this facility is operated; The current system is a mess and they are constantly understated. There are many able to work here, but once again they run into a question of discrimination. Everyone should be treated like a guest. The food is good, but too expensive. ALSO, they refused to change the specific type of chicken for an individual sandwich. Not sure why this was such a big problem; we basically only asked for grilled instead of crispy, and they couldn't accommodate. I would recommend going next to Miguel 's where they have air conditioning and you don't have to deal with rude staff. Miguel 's has a much more friendly presence, with friendly, thoughtful employees."

"Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. I go here almost every weekend and get a bowl with their side of two garlic breads for only 50 cents extra! I’ve also bought their large poke bowl and it was delicious—they included so much fish, unlike a lot of other places who are usually cheap with their servings. The seaweed salad is top-notch. Overall, I rate this place a solid 5 stars."

"I wanted to love this place, as I am looking for a sushi place that is both good AND consistent and having a very difficult time finding a place that is both.Looking at the high reviews here, sounded like a place that was a must try and they have quite an assortment of menu items outside of your normal sushi place, I guess this is where the pho AND sushi comes from .We sat at a table and my wife sat on the bench side, which was soaked with some liquid, water hopefully?Ordering here, there is a QR code to scan and place the order online, I asked if this was the only way to order, and while I was told that I could order in person that there was more choices to order from using the online method, not sure how that works?I am not a huge fan of online ordering, as I typically, especially as a first timer like asking for recommendations of favorite rolls etc., so really not a fan of this.On to the food:Garlic Edamame was not bad, good flavor, however $9.25 for edamame is a bit on the spendy side.Cucumber Salad tasted like dirt, could not eat this.Sashimi (10 Pieces This was decent, however some of the fish was partially frozen still.Makerel Ngiri was decent.Bluefin Nigiri was exceptionally fatty/stringy.Scallop Ngiri was not particularly good.Spicy Scallop handroll was the same as the Ngiri, not particularly good.Coconut Shrimp handroll , soggy, would not recommend.SeaSalt Albacore Roll This roll was decent, did not really taste the Garlic butter.SeaSalt Kingdom Roll This roll was decent.Paradise Roll Normally I love this type of roll, however this one was not good.While I most of it was Edible I would not say it was good. Not much contact from the employees, not much checking in other than to drop off an item, no asking how things were or if we wanted to order anything else."

"Amazing Indian food. Found one more gem in San Diego for good Indian food.Visited this restaurant for lunch last week during a weekday. We ordered vadapav, pav bhaji, paneer khurchan and spicy potatoes. Could not have been better on taste and service. The vadapav was really soft and of perfect spice level. Spicy potatoes are basically potato fries sauteed in onions and sauces.The staff is super friendly and the location is also very convenient in Rancho Bernardo.They have created a nice desi vibe by putting an autorikshaw front in one corner along with lot of posters with desi phrases. Also on one side they have hung lights in tea pot shaped lamp shades. Really unique and authentic.Will surely visit again."

"Good food overall and good service. We felt that the prices were a little expensive for the portions we received. I had the option between a small and large ramen and asked for the bowl sizes and the large bowl was easily triple the size. The noodles I got could easily have fit inside the small bowl. My friend spent 12 dollars on a meat bowl he could get for 6 elsewhere. Good food but the prices and portions felt a little weak."
