"I should’ve wrote the review long time ago. Just have a chance to do it now. Food is amazing, price is okay and even though the place is small but it’s also convenient, easy to find as its near Prahran train station. The cashier was super friendly"

"I'll be honest...I kind of avoided this place after seeing that they charge $4.50 for a hand roll. But finally gave in and have to say, the quality is actually pretty outstanding. I have only had the hand rollls (hiro special, chicken teriyaki, soft shell crab), but they are fresh, huge, and quite a delight. Other food, while a bit pricey, all looks pretty tasty. I think they got the chef back who used to run this joint years ago."

"Getting worse over the years in both service and quality. We used to like coming here almost monthly but not any more. The raw fish used to be a lot fresher and it now taste just like a normal sushi train shop run by non...Japanese people. Service wise... We politely complained about a piece of over burnt Karage Chicken but was told “it’s marinated with wine and it’s like that...”. I guess this can be verified by the shortening queue time too. Use to take 45-60 mins on Saturday evening and we could almost do a walk in recently."

"The food is unique, creative and fresh. Charles serves dishes that are not common to other japanese restaurants. However, the lack of service and arrogance of Charles was absolutely disappointing! We observed that Charles treats his regulars very well but for new diners - we were treated with arrogance. We will not be returning to Jamon."
