"We've been in the ravine and have never been disappointed. Parking directly at the house, otherwise a few steps away at the Nidda. Table reservation has worked well. The hygiene concept is well implemented. As an appetizer we had piffer cream soup with really many pifferlings and hand cheese with music. One of the best in Frankfurt. The different apples are a poem. I like the rose. As the main course we had the carving with green sauce. Very delicious. It's enough. We are looking forward to the next visit."

"On a hot Friday evening we are spontaneously in the old village forge where we have long been out of place. we were totally thrilled how beautiful and cozy you can sit there in the (to the happy) farm - really totally idyllic! We only found a pity that was reserved for all tables. as we arrived at 18:30 a.m., we were allowed to sit on a table that was reserved only later. so we were able to stay there at least an hour and eat a delicious flame-cake. great wine and flame cake selection! also the day card is top! next time we will reserve in any case!"

Followed by an amazing Chocolate Fondant and Mango Sorbet with Mint All lubricated with a tangy glass of Apple Wine. SERVESIZE:5/5 Perfect. SERVICE:5/5 Very helpful and friendly, including translating some of the menu Google Translate live view could not cope with (great app for travellers by the way and it works (including realtime video translation) offline as long and one downloads the language pack when connected. VALUE:5/5 High quality food for appropriate price."

"Das Restaurant Zum Forsthaus befindet sich im Stadtkern von Schwalbach und ist leicht versteckt. Einige Parkplätze befinden sich direkt vor dem Lokal. Man betritt das rustikale, aber gemütliche Restaurant und gelangt dann auf die Terrasse. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und erhielten die umfangreiche Speisekarte - von typisch deutschen Gerichten bis Balkan-Spezialitäten ist alles dabei (7 - 18 €). Die Auswahl ist riesig, ob das nun ein Vorteil ist ist fraglich, denn frisch zubereitet können demzufolge nicht alle Speisen sein. Zum Schluss hingegen war das Personal kurz angebunden und hatte wenig Zeit, was sicherlich auch daran lag dass das Lokal voll war. Der Stammgastanteil ist relativ hoch, darauf setzt das Restaurant."

"The taste is fantastic. The food really authentic.Here is possible to create your ultimate favourite pizza. The staff really love the job! Always open for questions suggestions, they know what you mean, even before one says it to the end. The way they put the ingredients to very best use, amazes us every time. It means a lot to us to see they treat their produce with great respect and hence the heavenly tasting pizzas. For us at least once a week is a must."
