"Wir waren Off-Season in der Urlaubsregion Byrischer Wald (Mauth-Finsterau). Wir haben dieses Restaurant eigentlich nur aus Not und auf Empfehlung von Tripadvisor aufgesucht, da in unserer näherer Umgebung tatsächlich kein Hotel oder Restaurant mit warmen Essen geöffnet hatte. Also sind wir knapp 20 km in den nächst größeren Ort Freyung gefahren, um dort irgendwas im "Zum goldenen Steig" zu essen. Zu unserer großen Überraschung war das Lokal vom Ambiente her wirklich sehr gemütlich und modern (Beleuchtung!). Die italienische Gastfamilie erledigt einen sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Und in der Küche scheint ein sehr begabter und professioneller Koch seine Arbeit zu verrichten. Unsere Bruscetta als Vorspeise waren auf jeden Fall ein Traum und auch unserer Hauptspreisen waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität und Geschmack! Unbedingt zu empfehlen - nicht zuletzt auch wegen den ordentlichen Portionen..... Auf jeden Fall volle Punktzahl!"
