"This is my first review on trip advisor. I am not usually one to complain but I feel compelled to advise people for safety’s sake. The raw fish had a distinct ammonia smell and tasted off. I was tired of eating steak so I wanted to try something different. The waitress was polite and pleasant but when I advised the chef about the issue he offered me 20% off and no apology. I ate about 30% if the food on my plate and even though I was hungry I was afraid to eat it. I have travelled to Japan twice and to Asia 26 times. Some of the best sushi I have had is in Vancouver Canada and I eat sushi at least once a week. I was hospitalized in Mexico with severe food poisoning for 2 weeks so I am diligent went things seem off. Please note this is not about taste or service, it’s about food safety."
