"Was in Waterloo this past weekend for the Ontario Volleyball Provincial Championships. My companions and I were driving around, and seeing Johnny Frescoe's name and food sinage prompted us to go there (instead of the Wendy's, DQ, and other not as healthy/great value venues).The whole team was great- from accommodating one person in our party who follows a very specific diet, to providing suggestions, and the choice of daily specials and toppings you could add to your meal. The food itself was mouth-watering!! Full of flavour and delicious. I had the chicken souvlaki pita, another person ordered the Greek salad, and third ordered the crispy chicken pita. We were MORE than satisfied with the taste and value offered.Must have the sundried tomatoes, tzatziki sauces, and chipotle sauce."

"Have eaten here several times and always enjoyed the food. Service was never great, but this time it was worse. The staff did not seem to know how a restaurant works. Had to get the menus and it took too long to take the order. The server could not answer a question about what is in one of the items on the menu. He checked with the cook and recommend an alternative (which was excellent). When the first dish arrived we asked for plates and there was confusion with the servers as to who would get them. There were extra place settings that were not removed. The uneeded items got in the way when the remaining dished arrived. The food definitely saved the meal. If this place learns how provide great service it would get 5+ stars."
