"We've been down to Marco Island spring/summer for the last 20 plus years. Spring is hard for the restaurants around here as the service is extremely slow. Our waiter was great last night. However our food took 90 mins to come out. They sat us down at 8 for a 745pm Res. and food showed up 9:25. Typical. Lobster fettuccine was good but lacked the lobster, and very small portion. And like others stated ambience is just ok. Would not recommend setting outside as we noticed some people not appreciating the headlights in their face when cars parked."

"I wanted to eat on recommendations from friends, the 94. Celebrate my dad's BD. The food was delicious, lobster roll was huge, no end of fresh lobsters, mussels on half-shell, best chowder ever. There were 5 of us and everyone loved their seafood. Clams, fish shrimps were great. One of the most beautiful servers, Katie! Great service and so sweet for my dad. She said his meal was on the house for his service in World War II and his BD. Very special Dsy for all of us! Hopefully we will return several times before we return to Elkhart IN in April."

"On Marco Island for vacation and came upon this quaint place. If you come to Marco Island this place is a can't miss. A family owned restaurant, everything is made from scratch and taste ever bit. They had a bunch of specials which all sounded delicious. We went with the fried mozzarella which was very uniquely prepared. The breading appears folded onto the cheese and is placed on a generous bed of sauce. My ceasar salad was crisp and the dressing was very creamy. My wife got one of the specials lasagna which she shared and it was wonderful. I got the Chicken Parmesan which was a very large piece of chicken covered in mozzarella cheese on a very generous bed of spaghetti. For desert we got the Lemon Cello cake which my wife quickly devoured. George was our server and he was fantastic. All in all the best place we have eaten so far on our vacation to Marco."

"Great dinner at Cafe de Marco. Our group of four had the Lobster bisque soup (delicious would love even more lobster chunks), three different types of salad (house and berry salads were better than the wedge), two orders of specialty prawns (like lobsterbut less chewy $49 each), the vegetarian plate (she loved it) and the Tripletail de Marco style (well cooked and tasty). Onlydemerits on dinner was the rice could have been cooked better on all the dishes. Was hard in spots. Overall, a great meal."
