"The dining room was not large approximately six tables but there are other smaller and larger dining areas available on busier nights I am sure. This restaurant is located in a country hotel so it is 'off the beaten track ' but clearly it was a destination for dining. The room could accomodate more tables but the space added to the elegance. The food choices were seasonal and delicious. There were complimentary appetizers before the three course meal and a chocolate truffle and french macaroon after our meal served with coffee a nice touch."

"A pleasant surprise located about 10 kilometers outside Tours, this Chateau is a hidden gem in the heart of the Loire Valley. From the quaint rooms (with real key entries) to the placid grounds, it is a pastoral retreat near a large French city. The surprise here was the high quality restaurant on premises, where we had a delicious four course dinner for reasonable price. We slept with the windows open and the frogs in the pond across the road lulled us to sleep. Staff are all fluent in English and do appear to have a good Anglo clientele. We would definitely return."

"A wonderful restaurant in the Loire Valley. We had a bottle of Sancerre and shared some appetizers (smoked haddock and caviar, foie gras, garden vegetable mix, and the cheese plate). Showed up without a reservation but was seated quickly. Elegant but not stuffy space. Excellent...presentation and execution. Ample street parking and right next to the Loire River. Menu is in both English and French. Would definitely go back."

"This restaurant was recommended by diners at another restaurant so we decided to try it. I would rate this restaurant as good as it was neither average nor very good. The food was nice but was overpriced. We had the euros menu courses)....However, because we chose the lobster salad we paid an extra euros per person (just for some mixed leaves and pieces of lobster). The main course was the best. The sauce made of Chinon with the beef was excellent and so was the fish with girolles mushrooms. Their house aperitif was very good. We had the apricot dessert which was quite disappointing. The dining room was clean and nicely decorated but the view from the window was lacking. We love our food and we were expecting a more refined experience for this sort of price. I don't think we will go back."
