Bought a chicken rice which looked rather handsome on the photo, but when I received it, discovered that the chicken pieces in the photo were in fact, disgusting chicken giblets (chicken stomachs), the stuff that we Aussies feed to our dogs. Isn’t it strange that when one complains to these people, their English suddenly and very conveniently vanishes?"

"We were looking for a dog friendly cafe after our walk along the beach and stumbled across this gem. Straight under the life sivers club on the beach front, they are very welcoming of dogs and the food was great. We both had the big brekkie and I have to say, having had a lot of scrambled eggs in my life, these were the best, will have to find out their secret, absolutely yummy. We finished with a really tasty cup of coffee and will definitely be back."

"We haven't been here for years and hoped we were not going to be disappointed well we weren't... Ken the owner hasn't changed and neither has the quality of the food .. the prawn toast, crab claw and dumplings were all delicious. The Peking Duck was sensational only the pancakes could have been warmer and the chicken ribs were super .. couldn't have faulted the whole experience and will return again soon. We highly recommend Goldfish."

"After we often had fish chips as a regular visitor of the opposite, we were very disappointed by our meal. it seems that the quality has slipped much under the new management. the flock was very thin, the teig was very. thick, oily not properly cooked. it tasted quite “adorned”. the supposed south melbourne dim-sims were not as we had before. we were extremely disappointed, will find an alternative in the future. I hope the management takes to know, as we also noticed that this time there were very few customers, compared to the mostly busy business."
