"A step above a fast food restaurant breakfast. We had a combination meal that included eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and French toast or a crepe with fruit and a cream cheese filling, It was all well prepared and was an adequate amount of food, especially when compared with other items on the menu that offered far less food for not much less money! The pot of coffee on the table is a great alternative to waiting for a server to bring refills, but the coffee is not a great coffee for the price! However, service was friendly and fast, the restaurant is large enough that tables/booths are not crowded together, washrooms are clean, and there is lots of parking, even if you do have to go around and in the back way to get there from 170 St. All in all, some menu items are better value than others. As in most pancake houses, a few simple pancakes are about the same price as a more substantial meal! A good point - a sign at the entrance says kids eat free on Thursdays from 4 until (I think) 8 - one free child's meal for each adult entrée."

"This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The food was very fresh, vegetables perfectly cooked and still crisp. Entrees we’re spot on!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and will only order from here in the future. "Food is delicious, and the staff is always very friendly! They make sure to give good recommendations based on flavours or food I like. Portion sizes and pricing is also reasonable. One of my favourite dishes are: Tom Yum Soup (perfect for cold winter days) Pad Thai (a classic) Mango with Coconut rice dessert This place has a very comfortable and homey feeling. Will definitely continue eating here!"

"We were looking around for somewhere different to go for our anniversary. Didn't have to be fancy, but we hadn't had good Italian in a while, so I googled Italian restaurants in Edmonton. Tasty Tomato came up high, good reviews, and prices that were...reasonable. So we went. years in business. Neighbourhood restaurant. Run by family. What could go wrong? Well apparently NOTHING!! Service AWESOME!! Food AWESOME. Best alfredo sauce ever! and veal limone...and tiramisu...and.... So glad we stepped out of our usual' haunts for Italian. Tasty Tomato will have us back for sure!"

"Amazing! The service was very friendly, and the food came quickly. The food was amazing! You have to try the Truffle fries! Our server, Ziggy, was awesome. Very friendly and helpful, quick on the spot, and so knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very comfortable,and the prices are very reasonable. My second time at a Cactus Club now and it is a new favorite. I definitely recommend it!"

"After many years away, we decided to go to Chop for our anniversary dinner. The steak bites are really delicious and were the only appetizer we ordered. We decided to have the dinner combo which includes soup or salad (several to select from,) your main course with sides included. We had the Caesar salad which was a bit bland for me, and we had the prime rib mushroom soup which was very good and very flavourful, we would definitely recommend it! I ordered the prime rib and it was excellent. It really melted in my mouth! I ordered the end cut which is a little more medium than a centre cut and I loved it. I also had a baked potato and the veggies which were all very good. Our waitress was excellent and at the end of the evening she brought us a glass of champagne and an anniversary card with a card for a free escargot at our next visit, which was a nice touch to a great evening. We really appreciated that our waitress did not rush us and she was very accommodating. The only down side was that they wanted to seat us by the bathroom even though there were plenty of tables and we had a reservation. They did, however, move us when I requested but the hostess was not really pleasant about it. I would have given the visit a 5/5 had it not been for the rocky start!"

"ALWAYS visit Dream Tea when I go to West Ed. My favourite bubble tea place by a long shot for sure. Taro Coconut with tapioca beads is my favourite one but I've tried them all. Filled over 3 stamp cards now. My most favourite drink."
