"We have eaten here on 30.06.2018 for the first time after the change of tenants. It was noticeable that the parking lot was occupied only with few vehicles, despite the excellent hiking beer garden weather. Also the tables on the terrace were not all occupied at 13:00. There was no such thing two three years ago. There was always a bud full. There was only one larger table in the rooms. A young man in outdoor clothing came to the table immediately, took the card and took our drinks requests into the service smartphone. The map was not very extensive. In addition to brat and curry sausage with various supplements and cold dishes, there were only 3 carving dishes with caroffelsalat or pommes. There are no more unusual dishes. Plums with semmelknödel and freshly smoked trout fillets were also offered as daily dishes.... We chose one of the carving variants. An additional salad must be ordered separately. The drinks came to the table well cooled. The staff was very attentive and fast on the move. The two foods came to the table after not too long. We ate and came to the same opinion that this was on the plates NULLACHTFÜNFZEHN and otherwise no longer, therefore no more detailed evaluation. Lightview: The high-quality add-on salad was sprinkled with noodles of watermelon pieces. Cleanliness errors were not obvious. I lost the Bon. We have paid 2x Schnitzel, 1 additional salad and the two drinks total 27,90 €. Renewal value 1* 5*: 2.5*, due to the large view from the terrace"

"Last Sunday on a trip the Rhodes wanted to stop for lunch. Unfortunately, three of the villages we know were either permanent, family or closed; another restaurant had opened, but was full of breaks. So we came to Frankenheim, a small place to Bischofsheim an der Rhön. However, you must leave the bypass road and drive through the place to get to the Hansen Mühle. A small bridge leads to the parking lot. We found another pitch in the gravel stack. If you enter, you have to go through a narrow hallway into the guest room, which is visually divided into two parts. It is clear from the outside that it is a building with a long tradition. The origins go back to 1710. Inside, however, the rooms made a recently renovated impression. The rustic furniture was simple and the tables and seats were easier. The room decoration was discreet and suitable for the overall picture of the premises; during the breakthrough of the space divider, three mill wheels, which are arranged one above the other, show the original use of the construction; unnecessary bending: faulty display! Upon arrival, the female service came to us on the way back from guests and asked for our wishes. We wanted to eat and place for 2 people... Since all tables were occupied, they put us before the choice to add us to a big table or wait for another table. We decided to put the other three people at the table. The maps were ready for a semi-high spatial separation and so we could make our choice. The selection was small; a wild dish, a roast, several carving variations and a fish fillet... that was already. The very friendly feminine service, along with a man behind the counter, took care of all guests about 45 and was like a spirit almost everywhere at the same time. She picked up our order and rejoiced that, besides the drinks, we already knew what we wanted to eat. We ordered: 1x large apple juice choir 0.4 ltr to 2.20 € 1x yeast jar 0.5 ltr to 2.50 € 1x spring carving with Schmand herbs baked, homemade croquettes and salad from buffet to 9.80 € 1x mill carving on a mushroom cream sauce with bacon cubes, pommes and salad from buffet to 9.00 €. The drinks came to the table after a short waiting period. The two dishes lasted for a few minutes, but this was due, among other things, to the fact that my wife has been getting freshly made croquettes for a long time. We wouldn't have expected this. The salad buffet offers a number of common salad varieties. All were fresh and available in large quantities. You could choose between two dressings. The salad has tasted us both very well. The main dishes were arranged appealingly on large plates; the plate size was also required so that the portion size had sufficient space. The carvings were cut thin, and there were two copies each. The panads were spicy and gave the meat a very pleasant taste. My fries were also prepared for the point. While gourmet cuisine was not this, both dishes were tastefully very appealing, abundantly portioned and the prices calculated for it can hardly be underestimated. Visiting the toilet confirmed our impression. Everything very well maintained and clean! If there weren't two steps in front of the entrance door and the relatively narrow corridors, then you might even have certified the accessibility to the local area.
