"Kinda disappointing experience after reading the mostly positive reviews. Let’s start with the highs: very fresh scallops, excellent coleslaw, fresh ice water, nice selection of sauces. The lows: grilled salmon was pretty obviously frozen and served dry/overdone; fries were limp and only lukewarm; “cornbread” tasted more like a blueberry muffin, smoked salmon chowder was very strongly flavored—maybe due to cooking all day? Staff certainly didn’t look all that excited to be working there. Hope this helps someone else, we won’t be returning here during our vacation time in the area."

"We celebrated Father's Day here and our family enjoyed the seafood boil. There are other options for those who don't like seafood. I wouldn't really recommend the crayfish, although it's interesting. Service is generally good, as are oysters, prawns, clams and mussels."

"I'm not sure if it was the manager or the most experienced employee, but the guy was pretty short to other staff members that were new. Instead of helping them understand the priority of tasks how to do it well, he made condescending remarks towards them. One of the newer employers wasn't sure of a step in preparing my meal but looked too timid to ask him for help. The wait speed of my order was a bit long, but it's also understandable. The food tasted great, but there may have been a food temperature problem as I got mildly sick after eating here. I can't say for certain that it was here, but it is highly likely."

"I love this place! They have a reliable online takeout system and accurate pick up time (usual 30 minutes after placing an order). They have a wide selection of home cooked bento style Japanese food from meat to fish. The food taste is less sodium flavor which I love. The people are very friendly and well aware of social distancing (i.e. one customer inside at the time) and cleanliness (i.e. clean vs. used pen to sign)."
