"I first reviewed this gem in 2014. So I thought an update was worthwhile. I must say its not often you get to write two reviews 5 years apart but my interest in this place has not waned. Well it's still all about the coffee and it is still the best in town. And the love and passion for the beverage comes out in everything they do. Since the extension a couple of years ago there have been some steady changes for the better. In my last review I said the food was almost non existent. Bit by bit that is no longer the case. The food offering is still basic but delicious but now there is enough of it that I can happily come for breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. The other difference is that with a bit more space I now often come mid morning and get my laptop out and get a bit of work done in a really nice environment with a great coffee. In the end its still all about the coffee and its still great over the entire 5 years since my first review."

"First time at this pub, we attended a Seinfeld trivia night. The event was well organised and Darren the host was excellent. He made it feel like we were amongst friends not strangers. The pub itself has that old school city pub feel but the facility itself is modern and fresh whilst still maintaining its original charm. Our meals were a good size, they were fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Could not fault them at all. We were surprised at how fast the meal was served as it was very busy. The staff were friendly, helpful and had good energy. The only negative was that alcohol is little expensive however it’s probably on par with most city location's? While it’s quite a distance from us to become our regular, would definitely return again for future events. Thanks for a great night."
