"Went here around 845PM on a date night. Originally went across the street to another establishment and decided not to eat there. We both ordered the short rib which were told was a house special. It did not disappoint. Served with asparagus, carrots and some delightful couscous. Next time will try the duck breast."

"I honestly don’t understand the crazy number of positive reviews for this place. The bowls are 90% rice and overall lack flavor. The spicy tuna was literally just shredded tuna with no spice and the spicy mayo was watery mayo, again with no spice. Do yourself a favor and go to a real Poké restaurant instead. This is easily the worst one I have been to."

"Honu Coffee is just my vibe. I love all their signature blended coffees. My top favorite is the Surfin Honu. It's a cold one and it's like a coffee, shake, and dessert all in one. It is my favorite coffee shop in Santa Clarita. Parking can be tough because the lot is usually full but there is ample parking on nearby streets and the City Of Santa Clarita has a free parking structure you can park in downtown Newhall and Honu is within walking distance. Seating is mostly outside with a few small tables inside. The staff does a great job and works fast to get you in and out.We like to use the Joe app to put in orders and pickup curbside."
