"Wonderful food. If you remember the bistros of the 70s, you'll love it here! Hazel is a great hostess while Gordon creates lovely food in the kitchen. They only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights so, if you'd like to eat here, you'll have to book in plenty time. They're usually booked up at least a month in advance which speaks for itself, doesn't it?!"

"Seem to have decent coffee, situation and set up but just chucked it in a cup for what was actually a very average cup of coffee. For an out and out coffee shop I'd expect great coffee with a lot of care and interest in getting it right. Was too hot and a taste which to be honest is just comparable to costa as opposed to a specialist coffee place."

"Ordered one Kofte kebab, two doner meat burgers, fries and onion rings. Food came very quick, was piping hot, and was even given a free cheesy pizza. Driver was very polite and accepted card at the door. 10/10 would recommend!"

"Friendly staff. Cafe is tiny and got very busy and noisy (breakfast). I had scrambled eggs on toast the toast was lovely and buttery, but the eggs made me heave, sorry. I've never had scrambled eggs where the egg wasn't beaten/whisked together before cooking, so I got a plate of separate white (bleurgh) and yellow egg lumps. Didn't have time to send it back, as had to catch a coach from nearby station. My partner just had toast, and this was fine, as were the coffees."
