"Aug 27, 2021 On Aug 27, my hubby and I celebrated our 15th anniversary. We decided that we wanted to have dinner at a place we had never tried; after looking at reviews and comments, last week, we booked reservations at Brix 25 in Gig Harbor. After we arrived at the restaurant, we were able to get seated early. To my dismay, it wasn't a table with a view, although I had requested one. And technically, I could see the water off at a distance, but that required me to be looking over other patrons dining there, which didn't seem right. My hubby had a view of a car and some bushes. Unfortunately some of the photos we viewed are a bit deceiving; although the restaurant's location isn't on the waterfront (like some of the pictures made it seem), it was close to it. About our Dinners. First of all, if I could rank on presentation alone for both entrees and the appetizer, I would rank them a five-star. We started with an appetizer, Thai Larb Lettuce Cups, and ordered some bread and butter, which happened to be a sourdough with compound butter. Both were delightful, and the lettuce cups were full of flavor; if you order them, be prepared for them to be a little messy, but the flavors were so there! We would order again. My dinner was the Seared King Salmon, kale, whipped potatoes finished with squid ink, plated on herb aioli, with Sicilian green olives, sun-dried tomato, and parmesan sauce. Our server asked me if medium rare was alright for the salmon; That was a new experience; I've never had that asked before when ordering salmon, none less, I agreed. Although my salmon being reasonably good, the portion amount was lacking in size. I can't honestly say it was above and beyond my expectations. My hubby's dinner was the Pork Chop, served with baby potatoes, veggie, and a garlic caper sauce. He enjoyed the flavors but commented that the pork chop is a little on the more challenging side. After taking a little taste, I was shocked that the beautifully plated chop was indeed not as tender as it looked, again on the smaller side. Brix 25 offers outdoor dining, which is great if you have pets tagging along or for safety reasons such as Covid. The restaurant was clean and uncluttered; tables were tidy and spaced apart well, with no soiled tables and odd smells. However, we feel the price of their menu didn't match the look and feel of their restaurant, which happened to be more of a laid back relaxed feel than a place that charges $29.50 for a seared pork chop, IMO. Restrooms were all-gender, clean, with no funny smells, no soap residue, or unkempt floors. Brix 25's location is 3315 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor, Washington. The restaurant is within walking distance of Harborview Marina. If you have never been to Gig Harbor, it's a beautiful little town with a variety of eateries and shopping experiences and a view to die for, a must-see for anyone who is visiting! *Keep safe, and please keep supporting all of our local businesses and jobs*"

What User likes about Brix 25: Wait staff was professional and courteous. We tried a couple of ânew for usâ items including a Pancetta Pork Chop. Very enjoyable. Look forward to going back soon. read more.

"Verdant plants surround you as you enter. Great outdoor dining option as well. The environment is a mix of classy meets come as you are you 'll feel comfortable in a hoody or a dress shirt. I ordered the Prime Ribeye, and it was one of the best, well cooked to order (perfectly medium) steaks I 've ever had. Stands up against a South Dakota dry aged ribeye I had in Deadwood, SD. 7 years ago. Took until now for that to be rivaled. My wife enjoyed her Citrus Halibut over Risotto. Our first time here, but we will definitely be back to try other items and enjoy the pleasurable atmosphere again."

What User doesn't like about Green.house: Went on Mothers Day. Had a reservation.Took staff 20 minutes to seat us as they set up a 4 top for 5 of us.We were told that the lunch menu had vegan options. When asked about it, our server said that whoever told you that was wrong We ordered and waited 50 minutes to be served.The food wasn't bad, however it was quite plain and salad was old.Overall, it seemed like entire staff was overwhelmed and under trained. read more.

What User doesn't like about Taste Of Peru: One star for lack of customer service and politeness! We arrived about 30 minutes before closing on Friday night which is 7 PM. They turned us away at the door with almost 30 minutes before closing? I remember the good old days when the customer was first. Perhaps the food is good, I didn't get to try it. Nonetheless, I'm sure the staff got to slip out the door right at closing. read more.

"Very good authentic Mexican restaurant. Great variety on the menu. I would highly recommend the El Chingon Tacos with lime Zilantro rice and black beans. I didn't try her margaritas, but I heard they were amazing, as well as many of her flaming? Options for drinks, food and dessert. They also have exceptional salsa with the chips. Great prices too. I'll go back to Gig Harbor the next time."
