"Kudos to Giessbach for running a fully vegetarian and vegan gourmet restaurant! The meals my partner and I had at Le Tapis Rouge were pleasing to the eye and tasted delicious. It was lovely to savour classic French dishes, including a creamy and spicy bisque...flavoured with seaweed, not lobster or other crustaceans. As a vegetarian, I haven’t had much of that. The vegan spinach stuffed crêpes were very tasty and satisfying. I can definitely recommend Le Tapis Rouge and I think the food will be well liked by most, if not all, visitors. I can also strongly recommend staying overnight at this beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in nice weather.

"음식은 괜찮았어요. 나쁜 서비스를받는다고해서 아시안 인종차별이라고 생각 안 하는 편이에요. 나한테만 그런것이 아니라 그 사람 성격일수 있고 유럽의 서비스 문화가 꽤 일하는 사람이 존중받는 문화가 좋다고 생각해요. 어지간해선 인종차별이라고 오해를 안 하는 편인데, 진짜 진짜 기분 나쁘고 황당했습니다. 독일어 메뉴판에 영어설명이 짧아 추천을 부탁했는데, 싸늘하게...“nothing” 한 마디 하길래 그냥 웃으면서 시간을 더 달라고 하고 와인만 선주문한후 독어번역기를 돌려 메뉴를 번역했습니다. 그런후 주문을 했고 최대한 웨이터에게 웃으면서 예의바르게 대했는데 다른 테이블에서 잘 웃는 그가 유난히 우리 테이블에 올땨 표정이 떡딱하게 굳고 차가웠어요. 제가 영어를 못하는것도 아니고..의사소통 문제도 없었는데.. 점점 기분이 나빠졌고 마지막 정말 기분을 몹시 살하게 만들었습니다. 거의 음식을 다 먹었던건 사실인데”접시를 치워도 되냐”고 물으면서 동시에 이미 접시를 치우는 것입니다. 이건 너무한다 싶어서 “ 이미 당신이 치웠는데요?”라고 말하자 자긴 상관없다며 안 끝났으면 두겠다고 다시 내려놓았습니다. 그 태도가 상당히 불쾌했고 정말 이 사람이 인종차별주의자구나하는 확신이 들었어요 . 음식맛과 경치가 좋았지만 이 서빙하는 키가 큰 백인 남자 다른 종업원분들을 제외 는 정말 인종차별주의자 입니다. Food was nice but I experienced such terrible service . He was so weird and rude. This guy is very tall. Maybe he is the tall guy in this restrant I asked him what would you like to recommend for me? He said “nothing”. I felt he is wierd. During eating a dinner, i saw him he was very nice to other guests. He was very cold to us I felt it several times. The moment I almost I was finising a dinner, he came to me, and askd “you finished?” On the same time, he was already taking my dishes. So, I said,” oh, you are already taking away my dishes.” He said, “ not finished? Okay” And he put dishes back on the table. Dish was almost finshed, it is true. The problem is that he was so rude. He was so different to us on purpose and bad. this time is absolutely sure he is discriminated against rase asian ."
