"Sorry but I was very disappointed by this place. I read about it online and had high expectations. But now I will never recommend it.Actually, I was excited to have the assorted skewers because I miss Japan and hoping they could serve food like what they show online.. so we specifically went to Uptown place just for Watami.First, not easy to find. Its hidden on the top floor. We had to keep asking the guards where it was. They should put more signs pointing where it is. Not put (unhelpful) signs at random locations.Second, upon ordering 2 sets of assorted skewers, we were put off by how their manager was explaining if we wanted to replace the chicken liver (my friend can't eat that) -- we MUST pick a cheaper choice but the the set will STILL be priced the same. Her tone and attitude was not friendly. Third, after we agreed we'll just pay extra if our replacement choice was more expensive. Our order came. I'm sorry but they really need to rethink how they cook the skewers and how they're prepared. Sorry but one of the worst I've tried. The chicken varieties are mediocre. And the veggie wrapped skewers were just inedible to me. Fourth, they somehow managed to charge my credit card bill using the wrong date. (Even the credit card company cant explain how they did this).So I'm sorry to give a very bad review. But they need to do something about all of this if they expect people to recommend it and want to come back."

"We paid 599/each for their unlimited meat buffet good for 1 hr. It was good food and nice ambiance. Also very accomodating staff. Wish it was longer coz we felt like we had to choose between catching up and eatinh but we had a great...time. Will def. Come back."
