"Toutes les pâtes sont excellentes, même chose pour les sauces; c'est du fait maison et ça se voit. Les portions pourraient être toutefois un peu plus grandes, la quantité est un peu juste. Le choix de salades est limité, mais elles sont très bonnes également. Les desserts sont corrects. Le service est efficace, rapide (pas plus de quelques minutes d'attente) et souriant. Vu les quantités servies, je trouve les prix un peu élevés."

"Our Cosmos tour group spent two nights at Novotel Bussigny Hotel Lausanne during the Grand Tour of Switzerland. The first dinner was included in the hotel. In our second night everyone was free to choose where to dinate. Bussigny is a very small, very charming village located 8 km from Lausanne. We had the choice to eat again at the hotel, or in one of only two restaurants in Bussigny. One has Chinese cuisine, the other offered local fare. We chose the local fare. The restaurant is located at Chemin de Villars 1, 1030 Bussigny p/Lausanne. Telephone: 021 612 85 84. It has no website. The village is just a 10-minute walk from Novotel. When my spouse and I found this restaurant, we couldn't see if it was open or not. Nevertheless, we arrived at 6:00 and found a man who placed the tables in a tiny dining room that could hold at most 15-20 people. Communication was difficult as he only spoke French; we only spoke English. After several experimental moments he finally showed us to a table and offered us a menu. From this French menu, my husband ordered an Italian dish that we recognized: Pasta Carbonara (17,50 CHF); I chose the Pasta Primavera (17,00 CHF), both with Penne Pasta. Servings were very generous and excellent. I accompanied my meal with a small Carafe Merlot wine for 7.00 CHF. My spouse had found a Desperados beer from Belgium (6.50 CHF) with Tequila. He had not visited this beer since we visited friends in Sydney, Australia, who import the beer from a local liqueur every year. And we found this beer in Bussigny! Amazing! My husband was thrilled. The man who puts the table stood as owner, cook and only waiter (Azevedo Antonio). While we could not really communicate in a common language, he was delightful; and we warmed up after the first few unpleasant moments. Another couple of our tour group came after sitting and shaved around their meal. The woman jumped on Lachs-Penne Pasta; the man on grilled horse, a medallion from which he offered to my spouse. Both men declared the meat delicious. You never know.... At the end of our meal the children and grandchildren of the owner came to eat and fill the rest of the tables. It was great food and fun to eat here. We wouldn't have missed anything tonight!"
