"We visited Don Lucio's while visiting Ollantaytambo, Peru. The owner, Porfi is very personable and a great Bartender. He has a couple of signature drinks that stood out: The Pisco Sour, Coca Sour and The Machu Picchu. We met several travelers that were travelling to...Machu Picchu early the following morning. Porfi made a Machu Picchu for each of them. The traditional way to drink this is for each person to put the drink in front of them and put a straw in the glass and on the bartender's signal, drink it down ASAP! It was very entertaining to watch. Porfi is also a licensed tour guide. We hired him for several excursions Machu Picchu, Maras, Moray, and Salinaras. He is extremely knowledgeable of the Inka culture and the history of the Sacred Valley. He made our trip to Peru worry free and unforgettable! Thanks Porfi!"

"We were booked at El Mapi but sent to Hatuchay due to construction/overbooking of our rooms-it was a major disappointment in every aspect. Our upgraded room had 3 beds crammed in, was dark and smelled moldy. Bathroom had very damp, moldy smell and a large hole in the wall under the sink, which had no light over it. Dinner (included) was inedible, 3 of the 4 mains were cold the tenderloin cold and bloody. It was the worst hotel we stayed at in Peru. The Manager at El Mapi did try to upgrade us to a junior suite at Hatuchay but a large sign warned of Danger-Do Not Go on Terrace (think it was about to collapse), the tv did not work and a very large spider running over the wall sent us back to the moldy room! Would not recommend to anyone."

И мы были рады, что такой ресторан в это время работал и отлично нас обслужил. Мы заказали местные блюда - альпаку (ламу) и севиче, а также 6 бутылок пива по 6 соль. Сумма заказа вышла 102 соля (31 доллар). Стейк из альпаки был средней прожарки, очень сочный и вкусный. Севиче (блюдо из сырой рыбы, маринованной в соке лимона) безумно понравилось. Вкусный, нежирный, хрустящий картофель фри. В ресторане есть очень хороший wi-fi. Туалет в заведении рядом с кухней и больше похож на домашний, с ванной, в этой зоне грязновато и не очень приятно. Советую садиться за столик на улице. Персонал плохо говорит на английском."
