"We live in the Forest Heights area of Kitchener and often stop at the Fish Hut for take out fish and chips. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is tasty. We were having adults and children for dinner on...Good Friday and decided to pre-order fish and chips to make the meal planning easy. Since Good Friday is their busiest day of the year, they have a few special policies for Good Friday: no eat in service...only take out serving only cod, haddock and halibut (no whitefish or shrimp) gravy and cole slaw are available but not onion rings you can pre-order ...we did and our order of family packs of fish and chips large gravy was ready exactly at as noted on our receipt"

"Really enjoy the ice cream treats here but when we went at 9:30 pm on Sat night we got the look of death when we walked in. 2 of the 3 girls that were there were rude and slammed around when making our ice cream. I get they were closing in 30 min but they attitude was not appreciated. Might think twice about going again for sure."

"Great family restaurant with great service and plenty of good food. Famous for their Friday Night all U can eat perch & frog legs served with salad bar and soup. Large menu to choose from also. Prices are fair for the quality & quantity of food. Lake St. Clair is just at the end of the street for a great walk and view. Not fancy but cozy atmosphere. Would recommend this great restaurant for a great night out."

"The food was OK but the service was slow and not very attentiveOur drink order was taken quickly but we had to wait for a significant amount of time before ordering food. We were there for over 40 min before we got anything to eat.There was no inquiry to make sure our food was suitable and the offer to replenish drinks only came as we finished the meal. There was never any mention of the dessert that was supposed to be included with a child meal and we didn't pursue this because we had been sitting there quite long enough."

"Ordered breakfast.. bacon and eggs were good, home fries were cooked twice and hard.Service was under par.. no follow up on tipping up coffee, etc. Place had too many flies in the restaurant that were landing on the tables and the food."

"Quality of the food was horrendous. Teriyaki beef was crap in both look and taste. The goyza was deep fried, your not supposed to deep fry goyza. On top of that the goyza had split open. Overall a garbage meal. If I could score it less than terrible i would."
