"I paid $65 plus $10 tip for 3 tacos, beef birria. Rice and beans no cheese) cost extra on the side. Rice and beans were luke warm, I asked to have it heated and to melt the cheese that I had to ask for melted it was just spinkled on top). I 've had better queso, too. Ordered a torta to go. And it was not as big as others I 've purchased and came with no fries $12). Oh! And a watered-down cocktail. I 've purchased this order from a nearby taco truck and got more and better food minus the cocktail add in street corn for $45. Great customer service and atmosphere. The sign says due to cost, but the food could be better if you 're gonna charge that much. I 'll pass. #Californiagirl"

"There are some Mexican restaurants in canapolis/concord that are good, but that is the most authentic. I have been here for 3 years and have finally decided that they have the best authentic tacos in canapolis/concord. the owners of amigo taqueria are actually the same owners of el amigo, which is a block away from food ion. I personally feel that amigo taqueria serves better than el amigo. if they are latino or have homemade Mexican food, they clearly say the difference between something freshly made and with love vs. something reheated in the microwave. that is the clear difference to me between visiting their smaller restaurants in comparison to the larger, busy ones. due to the pandemic amigo taqueria had to adjust their hours only to breakfast/ lunch and increase their prices, but I would still rather eat a taco from here compared to any other taco spot I have eaten in my 11 years in north carolina."

"It was a little after 9 when we went, I had two separate orders, super easy. Had some questions because I read the sign wrong, when we were leaving the menu I heard the guy say oh my God annoyingly. So that didn 't start off well. No nice greeting, we paid, got our food, and he handed us the last bag, didn 't even give us straws, and we just took it without saying thanks and he didn 't even bother to try saying thanks as well. Don 't understand how people are gonna be rude for no reason, if you 've been busy, sure but you don 't show it to the customers. You be rude about us AFTER we leave."
