"Food was awful and the owners/workers are liars. I am normally a regular who orders the same things each time so when my order came today tasting disgusting with fish that was mushy in your mouth I called to ask for a refund which they said they would submit later that night. Finding the whole situation a bit weird, I called JustEat directly to check it would be okay. They then called the restaurant who told them that they do not approve a refund under any circumstances. Upon hearing this I called the restaurant and asked why they said that after confirming to me I could have a refund. They said that they told JustEat this was fine and JustEat was processing it up to them. I relayed this information to just eat who called them again and said again they had refused the refund. This is appalling service! I was on the phone for over 40 minutes with Thames Sushi lying to my face in order to keep the money from their awful sushi. They are all liars and manipulators! They could have been honest and said I couldn’t get a refund. I even asked to speak to someone higher and they said that no one would be there until Monday, however, when JustEat called they spoke to the manager and the owner! Do not order from this restaurant!! The sushi made us feel ill"

"We have been staying in the Z Hotel 5mins walk from this place and just fancied some sushi to take back to our room for dinner. The lovely guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. More importantly the food was absolutely delicious! Recommended."

"Have been a lot, service is awful, but then its pretty cheap. However, had the mixed pad thai and got the worst food poisoning i have ever had. I went in to the restaurant two days later and spoke to the manager to explain and he just told me it was their most popular dish couldn 't have cared less. I will never eat here again."

"This is a great little sushi restaurant in Middlesex street just outside the city. Run by a very friendly couple. The menu also includes a great red or green Thai curry dish, chicken Katy's curry and chicken or salmon teriyaki. Great food at extremely reasonable prices. You won't be sorry you found this gem!"

"Sushi Tetsu is the real deal. It is the authentic Japanese sushi restaurant, where you eat at a counter in an intimate setting while you watch your super chef expertly prepare each piece of nigiri, slice each piece of sashimi, grate real wasabi on shark skin, carefully combine each ingredient and serve it all the perfect temperature. And you don 't even have to worry about ordering the right things because by saying the magic word omakase you will be served the best possible meal available. We had the sashimi and sushi omakase menu £88) but couldn 't resist ordering a few extra pieces of sushi at the end. Everything was absolutely delicious but while good sashimi can be more easily found in other places, the real stand out here is the sushi. Some of the most delicious were the squid with cherry blossom salt and the melt-in-your-mouth seared fatty tuna. Cannot recommend this place enough. They make you work to get a spot in their tiny restaurant, but it 's worth the hassle!"
