"Das Restaurant Burgrain liegt ca. 30 Minuten von Luzern entfernt am Fusse des Napfes. Es gehört zu einem Zusammenschluss von Biobauern aus der Innerschweiz, die lokal, biologisch und direkt ihre Produkte verkaufen. Auf dem dem Bauernhof findet sich neben der Stube auch ein Schaukäserei, ein ausgezeichneter Bioladen und verschiedene Tiere (wie Pferde, Wollschweine, etc). Zudem kann das eMobil auch aufgeladen werden.Das Essensaal der Stube ist in der alten und nun modern umgebauten Scheune mit Blick in den gesamten Dachstuhl, gleich neben dem grossen Holzbackofen und der offenen Küche. Das Essen ist modern, ausgewogen und sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Die Produkte kommen alle aus der Region und sind sehr apart zusammengestellt. Wirklich ein Gaumenschmaus. Gerade am Abend lohnt sich eine Reservation."

She also never says no to a nice chat and has a lot of hints, what to do in the countryside of beautiful Lucerne. "A very typical village pub in the village center of Ettiswil. But what really makes the trip here worthwhile are the two women who really run the place, Monika and Natalia. Even though there were only two of them, they had the place full to the brim well under control. Price/performance is also really good. I had the Costa di Manzo for 31 CHF which was huge considering the price and of good quality. The side dishes were also fresh and well seasoned. If you're in the area, you should really stop by!"
