"The carmelo greco is a fixed bank in the reigen der frankfurter sterneretaurants. we were too often here. since our visit was so beautiful recently, here comes a review. signore carmelo greco began as a young chef in the two star restaurant da guido at the grande dame of the Piedmontese cuisine lia vanzino alciati. already in the age of 20 years attracted greed to Germany, where he met roland brzezinski, with whom he opened the osteria enoteca in 1991, which was considered to be star in the french restaurant sky for 20 years. In 2010, carmelo greco opened the ristorante carmelo greco in a wonderful 70s architecture juwel in sachsenhausen, which remote memories of the tantris created in small and thus the goldenest gourmet experiences. the carmelo greco was also awarded immediately with a Michael star and 17 points in the Gault-Mühlau. when we arrived, after the kind greeting we had to do the cotformalities first. Unfortunately, the Carmelo-Greco is not 2g, so we had to lay the way to our table (we always get the same, very beautiful table) masked. ? we decided for the previously announced 4 curs degustationsmenu and immediately began with two glass dal din spumante brut rosé, which were presented by sommelier and host antonio the most generously table. time for the Amuse-Gaule. this time moussiert caprese, served in the pousse caffe style in glass. a wonderful start. as an appetizer a cauliflower panna cotta was placed on gamba carpaccio with limebeizung. a taste explosion. time for the wine. the wine card is well sorted, but not so extensive that after a few pages of study the sailing is completed. So I ordered the last position. a donnafugata mille e una stille, which was awarded for 79, eur the bottle. the price surprised me very much because this weeping, in the usual 4x calculus, could be sold significantly higher – but better. the wee came perfectly tempered and was also gifted by antonio in beautiful intervals. antonio proved to be a perfect host with good expert knowledge and the right part Italian charm. we drove with raviolini with kalbs filling and mushroom ragout, which could be supplemented with white truffles against a price of 30 eur, but we did not do this today. it was still a tasteful dream. before the tour my wife asked as usual about a break. of course, the requested was met. we could move. 30 minutes on the main course: in nebbiolo tasty calves to carrot mousse and bark port wine jus prepare. as it should be different: this band was also top class. before dessert still a word to the ambiente: very pleasant, modernist device with perfect lighting and discreet jazz in the back. a group of edibles that all seemed to feel very comfortable. as dessert we were given ananas tirami su, that unfortunately something was too big. the carmelo greco is the perfect place to enjoy the grounded Italian cuisine on the star level in a pleasant environment to fair trips."

"Very overpriced food with bored service personal. I paid 16,50 for a salad bowl with fried vegetables. The vegetables were composed of dry carrot and some boring broccoli. No taste at all but stomach pain for hours. The personal was bored but tried to compensate their complete lack of service attitude with put on overfamiliarity. Please avoid!"

"In this restaurant you can enjoy both the food, the wine and the great atmosphere. the menu card is kept very small, because each dish is delicious and also full. also gives a very good choice of crying. here they do not come every week because the prices are very high, but from time to time they can enjoy a beautiful evening, I can only recommend to everyone. "Was a Wednesday evening about the two of us decided to go Da Vincenzo's, quick phone call was made to book a table, no luck the place was packed out, but we were told to come in hour and a table would be reserved...for us in the front nicer' part of the restaurant. There's no private parking because it's situated on a busy main road so we had to drive round a bit to find a space. Once inside we were warmly greeted, shown to our table, menus given and drinks order taken. The menu has been simplified so it's not showing everything that can be served up, so it's best to ask if you want something different and more than likely they'll do it for you. They offer A la carte, Daily Specials and Take Away meals. Shame their website is not also in English. Certainly book in advance if you have a large group. We had a very enjoyable dinner, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it. Ciao"

"I stopped here for a quick dinner. Outside tables are quite simple and not really "clean". They have menu also in English with a nice variety of food. Really interesting is the beverage menu. Service was ratehr fast. The food I ordered was served well prepared, with attention also to presentation and looking. The same was for the drinks I got (Lemonade und not alcholic cocktail). I would score as good the food I got (schweine Schnitzel mit kratoffeln und caprese salad). Nothing exceptional but surely a place where I would go with friends or customers. Just a pity tables and seats were not really nice. Surely rustic but likely part of the style. The waiter spoke good English too. Goof value for money."

"Every time I go to this restaurant, I am impressed. The service is amazing, the food second to none. The pizzas are as fresh as you can get and the toppings generous and high quality. My favourite is the pizza with sea food and salmon....I also had the lasagna and other pasta dishes and all of them were spot-on! The antipasti are excellent, but try not to get full on them before the main course arrives. As I said, the portions are generous. Recommend it for a romantic dinner (and the prices are quite low, too)."

"Although this decent food was with a good and interesting cellar (many of them were from the wine card), it was very overpriced. the pictures associated with the restaurant are clearly misleading, which indicates fine eating when it is really standard (good) Italian tariff. the markup on the wein was 160% and without the wein, Sunday lunch for two would cost 110 euro."
