"My wife and I have enjoyed the service and food here at least half a dozen or more times since last spring. Hands down the best food in our area at a very reasonable price. We have focused mostly on the weekly specials each time. Meat is perfectly done, seafoods likewise, sauces always complement the dinner. The service is perfect. Your food always arrives piping hot. You simply wont be disappointed. If you are a fan of craft beer, the selection on tap and in cans is very complete. It is safe to say you will find everything top notch here.....friendly people, attention to detail, wonderful ecclectic dishes, a cozy atmosphere and a reasonable price. We always leave glad we went."

"Had a very bad experience at Nicky Doodles tonight in Rome NY. My nephew, wife and myself ordered hamburgers and onion rings and a beverage something our mouths had been watering for all day. After about fifteen minutes went bye after ordering our food we noticed three plates had been sitting for quite some time with onion rings on them . My wife said to me if those are our onion rings and they're cold I am sending them back and getting new ones made. Once the hamburgers were finished and put onto the plates with the onion rings and given to us my wife felt the onion rings and said they were cold. When my wife complained about the food being cold to the manager he said that was impossible as the food was kept under a heating light until the hamburgers were ready. Then I felt the onion rings and they were definitely cold so I told the manager that the onion rings were cold and wanted new ones. His response to me was I will make you some new ones and then mumbled YOU DONT NEED TO COME BACK HERE AGAIN EITHER!! I was very upset with him for being so rude and condescending to me , this whole thing could have turned out better had the timing of the onion rings getting cooked been closer to the hamburger being done. I don't mind waiting on food as long as it's warm and not cold . I guess I don't need to eat at Nicky Doodles again."

"I had heard good things about the food truck in the past was going thru Rome figured I’d stop for lunch. The food here at the restaurant is mediocre at best. The chicken and beef had no seasonings or flavor at all. All the food was lacking in flavor.The workers were nice and attentive also very good with explaining options and making suggestions. Great employees not so great food.For spending $55 for two lunches we definitely were disappointed with the food."
