"We didn't stay at Serena Resort but we did go for the Dunes Restaurant which has a sea facing dining room. There was no one to greet us when we arrived at 2 pm so we weren't sure it was open. However, there were 2 couples seated so we ventured in. We got seated promptly and were given an Indian and Western menu. We decided to split a vegetarian pizza and roasted potato appetizer with 2 cold Coke cans. We had asked for no olives on the pizza but the chef apparently didn't read the order. We were so hungry we decided not to complain. The server saw us taking the olives off and apologized immediately- he also brought 2 scoops of saffron pistachio ice cream for each of us on the house to make up for the mistake.Bathrooms here were downstairs and outside but had all the requisites for a traveler- toilets, toilet paper, soap, paper towels and was clean to boot!While the resort is clean, well-kept, and modern, the area around is still very much a village surrounding and they do things old style, like transporting wood on their heads!"

"Best place to dine in in Mandvi. I tried different restaurants in Mandvi but this far way good than others. In fact, I used to visit this restaurant everytime I visits Kandagara (a village nearby to Mandvi). Must try things: Veg. Hot and Sour soup Any Paneer Starters, all are Good. I almost tried Sizzler on the menu and every next one I tried is better than previous. In short they all are Must Try items. Simply Go for It. When it comes to curries, you can opt for any Paneer gravy, they all Tastes Fine I'd tried Dal Fry and Dal Tadka. Dal Tadka with Jeera Rice here are satisfying and end your meal with Buttermilk Masala (ask for the buttermilk that comes with Pudina, Ginger, Coriander)"

"This place can't be rated. This is my Go to lunch place Whenever in Mandavi. Their hospitality, their tasty food Customer Satisfaction at its PEAK You are tend to overeat because they feed you with All love and affection I don't even know the name of owner even though I have visited this place soo much. None the less, doo give this a Try and it will be worth. Mandavi aur Osho mein lunch nai kiyaa toh kyaa khaak Mandavi aaye"

"This place is in a bit interior location which gives an weird feeling to people like us who come from Delhi. However once we entered the restaurant we were at ease after seeing families in there with children. They serve very tasty non veg food and that too at a nominal cost. The quantity they serve is also wholesome. It is recommended to ask the waiter about the quantity they serve before ordering to ensure you don’t waste food and money."
