"Was in tonight for a family meal for my son’s 12 birthday and it was fantastic the service was amazing seated and drinks ordered straight away and food at the table in quick time just what we wanted lovely friendly atmosphere and family friendly nothing was a bother we will definitely be back again"

"We ordered our food late at night and expected it to get here fast as it was before the closing time but it ended up taking an hour.When it got here it was dearer than anticipated and the food wasnt much better. It definitely wasnt worth the price, the curry was was like a lard of fat and the rice tasted burnt. I was so gutted to spend a lot of money on a crap chinese. Will never be ordering from this place again."

"In a world of Soya Lattes, Gluten Free Non Diary Anti Celiac nonsense...One Gem remains loyal to the good old Greasy Spoon.... No airs or graces, the Border Cafe is a breath of fresh air....It quite simply is what it is and I love its honesty and heartyness. If you want a good old fry up, fish and chips or a burger and a can of coke, you will get it with a smile and a good price. Th staff are friendly, the food is exactly how it should be and it hits the spot on those days when you need food that sticks to your ribs and arteries."

"We went for the Sunday carvery and we weren’t disappointed, the choice is unbelievable.. staff always very attentive , great value and very spacious so you don’t feel you’re on top of everyone .. we have a large wheelchair and there was plenty of room for my brother in law to move about .. I’ve put a review up before on link48 which is the same establishment.. it won’t be too long until we’re back"

"We had our 25-year anniversary here on Saturday night,all was amazing,Food was delicious from david the cook, he is only fantastic,then so much, the staff were brilliant and really care about us all,thanks to declan and lee, they all made our night, which was extra special, would highly recommend,5star treatment,thanks again from kevin and majella"
