"Eating was nice.restaurant clean. friendly staff . had to wait for food, but it was worth it. there were 4 of us and 2 had steak and ale cake and it was full delicate steak and tasty .and 2 of us had fish cake that was delicious"

"Very disappointing. I 've used this restaurant on many occasions. Sometimes it 's first class and well worth the inflated cost of this traditional British staple, but it has become a disappointing waste of the price it costs, with an ever increasing frequency. Tonight 's fish failed miserably: they really couldn 't batten down the batter? The haddock was welded to it in most places dried up and tasteless, like chewing on deep fried tupperware. The chips seem to be on the decline,too? The majority of it ended up in the bin. I doubt I 'll be using, or recommending, this 'chippy ' again until it sorts its act out."

"This is the first negative review I have ever given. Ordered online and went to collect after arriving at our caravan following a fair drive over. Got back to the van ready to get stuck in. Opened the two meals I had ordered and the wife had half a chicken with chips and salad. There was two pieces of what I hope was chicken but what ever it was it was dry, unappetising and the only positive was our dog had extra tea. I ordered a mixed Donna and chicken kebab, and when I opened mine there was lots of (not hot) Donna and I dug down and found some chicken. What did surprise me was when I got to the pitta bread at the bottom it was sliced as expected but lay flat at the bottom of the tray so as I had eaten and again fed the dog what was I supposed to do with the pitta bread. "Typical cheap pizza place. No real quality. Adequate for a quick pizza but not authentic. Never had a meat feast with donner meat on before. Not something I'd choose to eat ever. Free garlic bread was rather crispy."
