"A nice post lockdown sunday lunch ... wish i had the turbot rather than the roast turkey (which was OK, but not great) but couldnt help but be greedy for the first christmas lunch of the year."

"I went in a party of three and we all ordered turbot, because neither of us is a massive carnivore (and none of us wanted to eat a brain). the menu was small and the main thing was expensive. the fish was beautifully coked, but not sure whether it was the price as they need to order side to be satisfied, and this will be the price up to about £40. the side were good and bigger compared to the side that they would get in other restaurants; they were also well cooked. the dessert had snipsel of rhubarb and was more flan than brulee; I'd rather be lavish by rhubarb with a good, questionable ecstard. the eating was excellent, though expensive for what they were given, but I would still be this restaurant five stars because of the beautiful outdoor and good service, without which I would probably rate orwell's four stars."

"We regularly go to the flowing spring. It is one of our absolute favourite. Always with different and excellent ales and international beers. Varied menu accomodating everyone's needs and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it! Our favourites are the curry, burger and the stunning chilly calzone. Definitely worth a stop, better on a table but also awesome for a take away."
