"After a walk past the park. sat outside with our two dogs. very friendly staff, we chose sandwiches that were delicious and served with many extras. very good prices too. we're coming back!"

"I know the owner reads these reviews and I know that this pub has changed hands a few times in the past few years but this pub is crying out for serving breakfasts! I've eaten here a few times and food and service are very good, I just wish there was a bit more in the garden for kids to do.... A slide, a few swings, you are nearly there... Beautiful pub by a busy road and close to some stunning villages, this one is worth a go. Service: 5"

"I was decided by this place by a friend so to go with milly our labradoodle on a sunny Sunday afternoon afternoon. we were served by beautiful staff who were friendly and polite. the food is all freshly made, the menu well and the homemade cakes for dying, I chose the toffee apple that was really cumbersome. now, so a visit and will definitely recommend it to others and will go again very soon"

"I was Very cold as we were near the front door and everytime someone came in I got a blast of freezing cold air. I sat with my coat on my lap but still my legs were cold. The front door has a self closing spring which makes the door SLAM shut with a VERY loud BANG. We waited 45 mins to be served and having to put up with being frozen and getting a headache from the door. We Didn't stay for pudding as I wanted to get home and get warm ! We bought a pudding from M&S to eat at home. There really is no excuse to not fix the front door and the table we had was certainly the worst in the pub. The food was nice enough and the beef very nice but I certainly wouldn't go back there or recommend it."
