"We have regularly ripped out from here as it was always excellent, but at our last opportunity I don't know if they have changed the chef because the red and green paprika have been cut into very large pieces and it has never been so before...a bit disappointed really even skin on twee"

"Got starters of calamari for 3 people everyone had one or two pieces and typically everyone found plastic strips in side the batter when we called the waiter he said it wasn’t plastic but some kind of membrane that should have been removed before cooking.Even though he admitted that it wasn’t right we never got anything knocked of the bill apart from the calamari starters that was inedible.Shame that a place we use to frequent regularly for over 20 years is now over the last 18 months a place where we go reluctantly!"

"We had afternoon tea it was excellent. Good choice of sandwiches and cakes, big pot of tea or coffee served on proper china. Would definitely recommend it."

"My partner and I have been coming here every Thursday evening for 2 years and i always ordered steak and ale pie chips and peas and been served a generous portion, last week i received the smallest piece of pie i have ever seen in my life (not even a child's portion)a handful of chips and half a plate of peas obviously to fill up the massive gap on the plate. Two complaints were made with nothing being done to rectify this or even an apology Needless to say my £110 per month i usually spend here will now be spent elsewhere."
