"I'm lucky enough to live in walking distance and thanks to the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, I visit often. I rarely eat out though as I enjoy cooking at home but I've changed my opinion after tonight my cumberland sausage and mash at The Harvey was incredible and my partner's rump steak was amazingly tasty and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend for food, drinks, friendly service, relaxed atmosohere, a game of pool and a good laugh"

"Absolutely fantastic, this place NEVER let's us down, the staff, the food and the atmosphere is just the best we could not recommend The Harvey enough really enjoy going here. 26/05/22 Update popped in for lunch today and as above but menu has changed and is really good had trouble deciding what to have but we settled for kebabs one was the Mango Chilli Chicken with Piri Piri and the other was Louisiana style Chicken strips with sweet chilli from the lunch section of the menu also a couple of side between us and WOW they did NOT disappoint, very tasty plenty of flavour and would definitely recommend, hats off to the chef again! Took a couple of pic's of today's lunch for all to see"

"Had a meal here a few weeks ago excellent ! Lovely traditional pub, good service. However, disappointed with our visit last Saturday (2/9/23), steak was tough to cut even with a steak knife , chips were pale, stale and dry and burger was hard and overcooked. Such a shame as it was a family birthday and spoilt the evening somewhat."

"Great selection. Would recommend lunch buffet. The dinner offerings didn't justify the price increase in my honest opinion. Consistently great food. Aside from the chavvy, track suit sporting customer screaming expletives at the staff about trying to get a box to takeaway a mountain of leftovers, it was a nice atmosphere. Very attentive staff and fresh hot food. Obviously the restaurant can't help that being located in Swindon attracts the cream of the primordial soup for customers, so no loss of a star."

"Lovely lunch. Staff were all very friendly, service was great and food was excellent. Covid measures in place and staff were constantly wiping down items and sanitizing hands. Will definitely be back."
