"We had evening meal here on a Monday night . We booked a table but there was plenty of room anyway. I found plenty of vegetarian options a but settled on the Sunday roast vegetarian version. The prices were about average for the area around £17 for a main course. The service was good and the staff were polite and cheerful. The pub has a thatched roof and the car park is large. I have no hesitation in recommending this pub for a good meal."

"I going to start by saying I have never stayed there but I love the food . The crown has a large menu but not a wide selection of items everything is great though but wouldn't go of you were a vegan . The food does take a while to cook though and any group larger than 4 will take at least half an hour to cook Service: 5 Location: 4"

"Spent my 80th Birthday celebrations in Stur of the Moment, and the staff and especially Frankie made our celebrations really memorable. I can without question highly recommend it for breakfast lunch or dinner. Go there, you won’t regret it."

"I can't speak for the accommodation as I only ate here but I must say the food was of good quality. I had a game pie followed by sticky toffee pudding. The pie was filled with a variety of game and was seasoned well, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that some of the meat was quite dry which can happen with game if only slightly over cooked. The store vky toffee was fantastic and such a cozy autumn dish. The atmosphere and decor were extremely cozy too."

"Amazing! North Dorset best kept secret fabulous farm shop, with organic produce, locally produced meats, an amazing cafe with the best range of teas, yummy coffee and really yummy food. An art gallery and I hear soon to have massage and Pilates on site too. Seriously how did I not know it was there? A one stop shop for Everything you need, quality and very affordable."
