"The best pizza I've ever had!! Couldn't not fault it at all, the pizza was absolutely delicious, the staff were so kind and the service was quick. We ate here twice during our holiday and got takeaway once and it was consistently incredible. I was very impressed with the takeaway service as I called up and was able to collect my pizza within 10 minutes, but I can imagine this would take longer for larger orders and at busier times. Bear in mind that it can get very busy so if you are are hoping to get a table in the evening, make sure to book in advance. However, we found walking in at lunch time without a booking wasn't a problem. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it's an absolute must to eat at if you're visiting Lyme Regis!!"

"This is the event we were in the river cottage, unfortunately it will be our last. for people plus extra for drinks we left the feeling rather flat and disappointed. I have left the feedback about a form that they follow. send out the event by email, but have not heard of them, so have decided to leave this evaluation. Please note that the drivers of the parking lot and the snow were excellent. also the causes of this feedback are not due to co-viding restrictions. we came and were greeted with a small cup of glowing wine outside. had to stand in the cold and damp nebula until they opened the snow for us, into which we go. they had fired a firehouse, but that was all. no lighter, no cover, no real effort made. a fish caused melt very fishy and was undercooked, I don't like my fish to be overcooked, but that was raw. my wife didn't eat a dish, the waiting staff just took it away without asking if it was okay. in the did they never checked whether the food was in order. we had very tiny crisp raw potatoes with the hammel plate. Overall, eating was disappointing, many small dishes and canapés, but nothing that made it worth the money or the special. a Sunday roast would have been more satisfying. the band had a terrible playlist and did not read or engage with the space. it was quiet on the building until midnight. we were in the did try to go before midnight, but thought this would have made too much of a statement. we went shortly after, even though we went on an hour. the waiting staff has not cleared empty glasses away, you have even knocked my empty beer and not yet taken away. they did not ask to wear masks as they were entered, they did not check whether people had made a lateral flow test as they requested on an email. a series of people coughing inside without running masks, it didn't feel safe. they accused a premium, even at half the price that I would have been very disappointed with this event. it is also disappointing that they did not come back to me after I sent this feedback to them."

"We ate inside on a Saturday night. Excellent service welcoming front of house staff. The pass is inside the restaurant area which was a nice design as you could see the chef placing food out, and gave you a nice nosey to look at the other dishes which was being made. Food was excellent, no faults with portion size spot on. Scallops had dived in the local bay too. Amazing. Service: Dine in"

"Our 10-minute wait for fish and chips turned into 25 minutes. Although we were first in the place to order (take away), a couple who arrived after us (eat in) got their fish and chips served first. Then, at least on three separate occasions, locals who had ordered just chips got served. Nice fish and chips, but I wouldn't go back. There's plenty of other shop around. Food: 5"
