"These guys literally saved me from starvation! I had a blow out on the A5 in the middle of nowhere and the aa had abandoned me for over 12 hours. These heroes not only delivered food and drink but the best kebab that I have ever had they also included a free litre of water that saved me from certain dehydration in the middle of night when the aa decided to not show up. I cannot recommend these guys any more!! Hero’s "

"I’m a bit bemused by the positive reviews for this place. There are only two vegan mains on the menu both are quite predictably bean-based (quinoa/bean burger fajitas). You can get bean tacos or cauliflower fritters to start. Maybe I’ve been spoilt in other restaurants but I found the lack of options disappointing and pretty unimaginative. Food was alright but I wouldn’t go back."

"I have to write this review out of shock! Went on Saturday night with my daughter as this was one of my favourite restaurants in the village! How disappointed I was to see the small new menu , with such minute steak and chips! Ummmm...what happened to the mussels in white wine sauce something a bit different? So we went with a shared meat board! This was in fact the worst meat board I have ever seen, ham out the packets, a few slices of salami no pickles And served on a plate, just shocking for £12.00 The restaurant was bright with all the lights on, no atmosphere, normally candles on table and a open fire! Service slow. Please bring back the old Gales Your Sunday roast was the best now you have even stopped doing them and replaced with burgers! Will never return until this place gets sorted such a shame"
