"Ordered 5 curry’s last night as there was few of us for carry out got back eat the food was disgusting every singlet curry was vile chef wants sacking no lamb in the curry wife had chicken tikka thats give her food poisoning so can’t go to work today and my other 2 friends who had a prawn curry was ok but my other friend isn’t very well either I will not use this Indian ever again you have lost very good customer. "Only went in as my phone ran out of battery when I was paddleboarding back from The Churnet Valley. Went in to ask to use their phone they not only called a taxi for me, who said they'd be half an hour, so ordered a lemonade, they then even offered to charge my phone!! I'm really impressed with the service it's in a beautiful area! I didn't eat there (yet! But due to the service location I'll definitely be returning with friends more than likely go after a hike, so order a nice meal after! So I'll update this, but if the food is half as good as the friendliness service then I I'll probably be giving it 5 a full set of 5 stars! Cosy inside lots of outdoor seating, too! I would like to thank one barman in particular for going above beyond! So highly recommend!! Parking: I was on a paddleboard, then waited for a taxi, but there's plenty of parking I believe it's free, though it's possible it's only free if you're using the pub, but I'm not sure as like I say I got off my paddleboard there, before waiting half an hour for a taxi, but the taxi picked me up in the carpark, so that's how I know it's a good size parking area! Kid-friendliness: There were kids around, so I'd say so! Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not sure, as the main door is small, though it's highly likely there's another bigger entrance, but again, that's just a guess!"

"We decided to go out to lunch for a little celebration. I booked a table having not been in a number of years. We were greeted by smiling staff and shown to out table. From that moment nothing was too much trouble. The lunch menu while not extensive had a range of choices complemented by a delicious specials board. The food was excellent and the portion size’s generous. Despite the small size of the restaurant and the fact that it was nearly full we never felt pressured to hurry. We will definitely be returning."
