"The Taste of Raj was recommended – I used to live close by and it seemed a good idea for a family meet from different locations. It certainly lived up to the recommendation! The food and service was very good. We all agreed it was an ‘old school’ Indian restaurant – small, booths, no fancy nouvelle cuisine stuff, owner serving the food and tasty dishes, good value, too at under £27 per head (no alcohol, though as we’d spent an hour in the Prince Blucher beforehand! .
