"Ended up at the boat house twice this week. It was the perfect place to meet up with old friends and to grab a bite to eat. The food was lovely. Had the boathouse burger and salt and pepper bites, beef and ale pie, haloumi strips, fries and chicken bites with sweet chilli. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and said they would eat there again. Service was great. Would go again. Price per person: £10–20"

"Last minute breakfast date with a friend. Luckily we managed to get a table as it was pretty busy even at 10am on a Sunday! The place has a great vibe, relaxed and intimate. My friend had the sourdough toast which looked good and I had the cinnamon sourdough French toast. It was presented beautifully and I was a little worried that with it being sourdough it wouldn’t be as good as other French toasts I’ve had…but it was lovely and soft! Thick cut, complimented perfectly with the mascarpone, salted caramel and toasted maple seeds. Great place for home made breakfast."

"Really great eating here, good atmosphere and good service. that is a great thing, because my dame is a very naughty eating, so if she said it was great, it must be like that. I had the steak pee, chips, heaps and gravy. the torte was noticeable, great baked, super thick cut chips, but for me the engraving was too thin. my good lady had chicken on a maic bed with a fine white sauce. I immediately knew it was good because she was all about it. That's what it's saying, it's really good."
