"I needed 40 fish suppers, 3 sausage chips, and 3 spring rolls chips at 1pm for the church’s friendship group. All ready at the right time and piping hot. They even knocked a little something off the price! Thank you Popeye’s excellent value for money and everyone had a fabulous lunch. (Obviously, we checked this was ok a week earlier and put in the final order the day before)."

"Just had a really lovely family meal for my daughter's birthday. We had balloons (without asking) to mark the special occasion and really lovely attentive staff. Not too intrusive but there when ever you needed service. The food was fantastic. Between the 4 of us we all have very different tastes from fish to steaks to spaghetti bolognese. Everything was perfect. And excellent value."

"If you like many different menus then Judges is for you. There is an a la carte menu, specials menu, vegetarian menu, vegan menu, pasta menu and platters menu plus a few more to boot. All would be worthwhile if the cooking was good but my meal was disappointing; the BBQ ribs had seen no BBQ and were covered in a rather unpleasant sauce plus the dish was lukewarm. This continued with my calves’ liver where the liver was ok, the bacon flaccid and probably precooked and the mash stone cold. I didn’t send it back as the venue choice was made by our friends and I didn’t want to cause a fuss. The location is a number of interconnected rooms with what looks like a large marquee at the back, it’s quite flashy and rather ostentatious. There were a number of large parties and I imagine it can become quite loud but fortunately we were seated in a small anteroom. Service was attentive by waiters dressing in black suits with white shirts and ties all rather retro."

"Great little restaurant, my vegetarian kebab was excellent. The waiter recommended a nice bottle of wine which was very good. Service with a smile and prices good for what we ate. 4 of us went and really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back."
