"We went to lunch on a rainy Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised. we eat in the rule in another pub in the village, but decided to try the woodman for a change, and I am glad that we did. eating was amazing! the Sharing plate we had for a starter was huge, with a plentiful service for both of us, and also great worth! then we both had the duo of bark for our main, that was nice and very recommended for meat lovers. the pub itself was cozy and had a relaxing atmosphere despite the current regulations. all in all I would recommend the woodman very much. support their local pubs!"

"Buongiorno was for us a lockdown when we made our local walks! we discovered it in a small shopping center next to acomb woods then TA’d it when we returned. I couldn't believe the Rave reviews and how we didn't know! let's just say that we have created more than for it, now visit with many, as the dings are opened again. as couple, with friends and with the family, not to disappoint. super friendly service, wonderful authentic food and a really interesting wine list. the limoncello on the house is always a nice opportunity to finish a relaxed and pleasant visit. we will be back soon, of course!"

"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We called for york races and saw that they don't take any cards that we asked if there was a cash machine near. they told us there was one in the load on the road, but we could get him later. I went to get cash after the order, but machine couldn't read it. back to the restaurant and explained, but you said that no care could be taken in another time we mentioned in the morning, but it only opened by 5 o'clock. it was said again that there should be no care that could enforce the door! we eat our meal and drove a few miles to a tesco where we get money and back to pay bill. btw the food was excellent"
