"We ordered over £70 worth of food, fish, scampi, white puddings , sausage, burger, and pizza, all suppers. I have never ever seen such stingy portions, my chips were hiding under the fish and believe me that would be difficult as the fish was one side of a haddock, and the slimest, thinest haddock I Have ever seen, fish fingers are bigger. We were all still hungry after eating the smallest portions know to man. That is one chipper we will never use again, not that long ago you used to get a fish and a half, sometimes 2 fish, but half a fish and a dozen or so chips, shocking"

"We went from arbroath to the same day and needed somewhere to lunch. I stopped here and what a surprise for such a small place. it had a log fire burning, the personal was very welcoming and happy in the position to find us a table. that was nice eating, all house cooked at a very affordable price. it wasn't just great, it was great. I have since recommended it to anyone I said as a place to try if they are in the opposite. will definitely be back."
