"Had a lovely stay when visiting for two nights. I had a great night's sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious breakfast in front of the fire, exactly what we needed after attending a wedding the day before. If I return to the area I will definitely be back!"

"With friends and pre-booked (the dining area is very small) we had dinner whilst they dealt with a high volume of take-aways. Our request to be quick as a train had to be caught was fully achieved and the service prompt and friendly as well as the food being very reasonably priced with an extensive menu. Our starters were almost meals in themselves with generous portions, likewise the mains with the chicken curry tikka particularly tasty. Very good value."
