"Chinese new year 2022. the restaurant was packed (with East Asia, also to myself, which is always a good sign) but the compromise between service and quality of food. it was so tasty, fresh, and the tee and scurry were regularly refreshed. great menu. not huge, but had everything we wanted, and some new things we had not tried before. they even grabbed my rest until home. I think this has become my new goto Chinese restaurant outside londons. it was great. highly recommended."

"We booked up a table for 6 of us to celebrate our sons 32 birthday on Sunday 15th Jan 14:30. When we arrived the restaurant was full and we had to wait in the bar area for our table to be ready. Within 10 minutes we were seated and as we already had drinks we put in our food order. The Sunday Roasts start off at £19 for half a roast Chicken, then its £20 for Lamb, Beef or Pork. None of us had starters as we know from experience just how big the meals are. My half roast Chicken came out with a Yorkshire pudding and gravy over the meat. All our meals arrived promptly and then followed on the simply superb dishes of vegetables and roast potatoes. We all did our very best to finish off all the dishes but we failed miserably. We had two dishes of Cauliflower Cheese which was divine. The Potatoes were amazing. The whole meal is just like you would expect from traditional home cooking. With every meal came another small pot of gravy to pour over your veg etc. The food was simply divine and there is literally nothing anyone could complain about. The bar has a superb stock of ales and drinks so everyone is catered for. Booking a table in advance is paramount as this place is so popular it gets busy very quickly and for good reason. We will certainly be back again in the very near future. Thank you."

"Had a wonderful night here. I planned to take Omni father out to fully vegan restaurant, they were forced to cancel the booking and this was my fall back. He had fish and chips. I had a Mexicana vg Burger with sweet potato fries. Both were wolfed down. Mine, messy witg sauces and slipped patty but flavours were superb! Vg churros with dipping sauce and ice cream. "17 of us met on a Sunday for a 3 course lunch held in the private dining room. We pre-ordered having selected from the Sunday Menu, the Specials Menu and the A La Carte Menu. The restaurant was all prepared for our arrival and the service was discreet, helpful and courteous. The food and wine were excellent and overall great value. A good time was had by all . Highly recommended. We will be back!!"
