"We were lucky enough to share our wedding day with the Grey Lady restaurant yesterday. It was exceptional and we can't thank you enough. "A few related came from the states for a family attack and last night was their last before the flight to home. we decided to feed together in the copt oak before we say goodbye. I enjoyed my time here and the staff was great. the food was excellent. the sitting was inconvenient after a while, but this is my only complaining from all night. the young lady, who served us for the evening and cared for, went beyond and beyond for everyone and was very polite, even though some of my family members were unstoppable. (I want to apologize for her. Unfortunately, I did not succeed in catching their names and want to make sure that they receive the recognition they deserve. if they could help me, I will edit my review and add its names. we were a group of twelve and we stayed almost until they were to end. we have made photos of each other. Hopefully they can identify the young lady who served us. Many thanks for a very pleasant evening, I will definitely come back to the future."

"Visited last saturday with family for a meal, cannot fault anything, staff welcoming and helpful, good pub menu, kids as well, value for money, all food was really good, hot and tasty, good service and nice atmosphere, the open fire was really nice to see,...overall a great place to go. "Booked well in advance as driving 4 hours from the south coast to visit my 90 year old dad and take him out for lunch on Christmas eve. Researched a dog friendly pub and also made reference to my dog in the additional notes section. Arrived at a huge pub with many empty tables to be told that the 4 dog friendly tables were taken as they hadn't bothered to read my booking correctly. No apologies or attempts to accommodate us. Staff were rude and unhelpful. By all means enjoy the wonderful bradgate park with your dog but do not be under any illusion that this pub is dog friendly."
