"My Wife and I ate here whilst house hunting and staying in Exideuil. As previously mentioned, the place is no looker but the welcome was very friendly when we arrived, with hand shakes all around. We settled on the menu de jour, which amounted to buffet starter, plate de jour, cheese, dessert and a small carafe of red or white wine, all for the amazing price of 12.5 euros. My Wife is a vegetarian and was able to change the plate de jour for an omelette without any fuss. We sat in the beer garden at the back and enjoyed the last of the day's sunshine. The food will never win any awards but if you are looking for plenty of it and want a drink without driving, this place if worth a visit."
